JOYCE PEREIRA

Funeral services for Joyce Pereira, 71, of West Monroe will be at 10:00 AM 
Saturday, December 29, 2012, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe with Rev. Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow at 
Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe.

Joyce was born January 11, 1941 in Monroe, LA to Allen Guy and Lois Stanford, 
and went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2012. She was a member of 
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She retired as cafeteria manager at 
Drew School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann Haynes and Alene 
Oliver; brother, Bobby Stanford; and son-in-law, Tom Winstead.

 Joyce is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Pereira; daughter, Rhoda 
Winstead; sons, Ronnie Guiterrez and partner, Connie Lively; Vincent Guiterrez 
and wife, Jill; daughters, Angel Rieger and husband, Bubba; Lisa Smith and 
husband, Joe; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynda Gray; 
brothers, Elmer Stanford, Raydell Stanford, and Danny Stanford; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Shane Hattaway, Bo Guiterrez, John 
Guiterrez, Brian Rieger, JD Rieger and Jacob Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers will 
be grandsons, Joseph Smith, Jason Rieger, Alex Smith, Shane Rieger and Zach 
Rieger.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2012, at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe.
