RAYMOND C. PERKINS

Funeral Services for Mr. Raymond C. Perkins, 90, of Monroe, LA will be held 
11:00 A.M., Monday, October 31, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Monroe, LA.. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in 
Monroe, LA. 

Mr. Perkins was born November 10, 1925 in Gainsville, TX and passed away 
October 29, 2016. He graduated from Neville High School and attended 
Northeast Louisiana State College. Mr. Perkins served as a Naval Aviator 
during WWII, retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor of letter 
carriers and he was a charter member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church. 
Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Faye Jones 
Perkins; son, Raymond Perkins, Jr.; stepdaughter, Angela Foreman; and three 
brothers, Jim Perkins, Marion Perkins and Kenneth Perkins.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Hallie "Ouida" Perkins; son, Gary 
Perkins and wife Jackie; daughter, Rhonda Gail James and husband Ron; five 
grandchildren, Kim Wassan, Jennifer Bible, Jessica Higgins, Ronnie James and 
Jill White; and ten great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.
