"JAKE" PEROT Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Jacob N. "Jake" Perot, 80, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 4, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Roy Ervin Southern officiating. Interment will follow at Chase Cemetery in Chase, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mr. Perot was born March 21, 1929 in Oak Grove, LA and died April 30, 2009 at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home. He served in the United States Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War and retired from Illinois Central Railroad. Mr. Perot was a Masonic Mason and loved hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Hill Perot; parents, Osbon Perot and Mary Bonner Welch; and brothers, Donald Lee Perot, Eddie Joe Perot, Billy Mac Perot, and Harlan M. Bonner. He is survived by his sons, Richard Perot and wife Jill, Steve Perot and wife Renee, and Jeff Perot and wife Shannon; daughter, Sara Hendricks and husband Jeff; grandsons, Chad Perot, Andrew Moore, Matthew Moore, Ethan Perot, Judson Porter, Seth Perot, Clayton Porter, and Wayne Hendricks; granddaughters, Anna Redding, Amy Hendricks, Candyce, Casey, and Mackenzie Perot; brothers, Bruce Bonner, Gene Perot, and Vern Tolbird; and sisters, Mary Frances Hernandez and Juanita Ramage. Pallbearers will be Barry Bonner, Rocky Bonner, Chad Perot, Ethan Perot, Seth Perot, and Wayne Hendricks. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home, Premier Hospice, and Landmark Nursing Home for their special care of Mr. Jake in his last years.
