JONESBORO, LA - Services for Gwen J. Peters, 51, of Jonesboro, LA will be at 
2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 1997 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Tuck 
Roberts and Rev. Truman Leach officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist 
Cemetery, located on Highway 4. Mrs. Peters died Monday, November 24, 1997 at 
Jackson Parish Hospital. Mrs. Peters was a native of Rayville, LA, and a long 
time resident of Jonesboro, LA. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church 
where she played the piano and was an active member of the choir.

Survivors include her husband: Delwyn Peters of Jonesboro; parents: Mr. and 
Mrs. James O. Johnston of Rayville; daughters: Kay Johnston and husband, Tracy 
of Jonesboro, Kim Masters and husband, Dwayne, of Calhoun, Kelli Peters of 
Monroe; sister: Jimmie Sherman of Jonesboro; granddaughter: Tiffany S. Masters 
of Calhoun; and son: Justin Wyatt of Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be Terry 
Terrill, Jimmy Robinson, Ronnie Doug Clarke, James Whitney Sherman, and Johnny 
McMillan. Visitation will be at Edmonds Funeral Home on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. 
until 1:00 p.m.
