PEGGY GAIL "RED" PHILLIPS

Kilpatrick Funeral Home

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Gail "Red" Phillips 64 of West Monroe, LA will 
be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in the chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe. Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Interment to follow at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Phillips was born July 3, 1944 in Crossett, Arkansas, she was a small 
woman only 5' 2" full of spunk and spirit, and a temper that matched her red 
hair. No where on this earth could a sweeter woman be found. She was formerly 
married to LeRoy Piercy of Rayville, LA and they had four beautiful children 
together.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 23, 2008 in Calhoun, LA.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Grey Phillips, her father and 
step-mother, Woodrow and Lila Phillips of Archibald, LA.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter, Paula Lynette Piercy Elliott and 
husband Trey; sons, Mike Piercy and wife Sheri, Waylan Piercy and wife Karla, 
Brian Piercy and wife Hope all of West Monroe; sister. Dot McCurry of Calhoun; 
brother, Kirby Phillips and wife Sharon of Archibald, LA; grandchildren; Shawn 
and Blake Karr; Macy Bracken, Logan and Alexis Ellliott, Destin, Dillon and 
Gracie Piercy, Tyler Brown, Tristan, Hunter , Kaden and Keegan Crocker and 
Erica Hagmeyer; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Destin Piercy, Shawn Karr, Blake Karr, Brad Phillips, Cory 
Ratcliff, David Piercy and Paul Porter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dillon Piercy and Logan Elliott.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the doctors and nurses on 
the fourth and fifth floor at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital who took such 
loving care of our mother. Also a special thanks to Travis and Shawn, Jennia, 
and Kim of Hospice Care of Louisiana for their tremendous support.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 
PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
