Rev. Steve Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery in Eros under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe. Mr. Phillips was born on June 26, 1930 in Eros, LA and passed away after a lengthy illness on May 27, 2016 in Farmerville, LA. He was a retired park ranger with the Corps of Engineers, retired lieutenant with LA Game and Fisheries, and a former West Monroe Police Officer. Mr. Phillips is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the re-organized Latter Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.E. and Viola Phillips; two sisters, Katherine and Florence. Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 41 years, Annie Allbritton Phillips; three step-sons, David, Greg, and Chris and wife Rhonda; grandsons, Donnell, Chad, Ryan, Shayne, and Tommy Reagan and wife Shelley; two great-grandsons, Cayden and Chandon Reagan; two nieces, Kathy Pitard and Sandra DeTaranto; nephew, Larry Joe Morris. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Donnell, Chad, Tommy, Ryan, and Shayne Reagan with David Underwood. Visitation will be Monday, May 30, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
