JAMES D. PICKENS

Funeral services for James D. Pickens, 92, of West Monroe, will be held at 
10:00 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

James Pickens was born August 10, 1922 in Farmerville, LA and passed away March 
10, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was owner of Pickens Steel Building Systems and 
a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Pickens was preceded in death by his wife, 
Elizabeth "Cissy" Pickens; sister, Jacqueline Knight and a brother, Dan 
Pickens.

Mr. Pickens is survived by his nieces, Caggie Daniels and Sandra Rushing, other 
nieces and nephews and special friends, Linda Creed, Donnie Brown and wife 
Nancy, Josh Hodge and Mickey Reeves.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 8:30 AM until service 
time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
