JO ANN PICKETT

Funeral services for Jo Ann Pickett, age 75, of Oak Grove, LA will be 10AM, 
Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. 
Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction 
of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 8AM - 10AM at Cox Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Craft and Mattie Mae Craft; 
brother, Buddy Craft.

Jo Ann graduated from Kilbourne High School in May 1957. She attended Northeast 
LA College. She holds a BA in education and a Masters in education. She was a 
member of Association of Education member of LEA and NEA. She retired from 
Kilbourne High School on May 25, 2000. She will be missed by all that knew and 
loved her.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne Pickett of Oak Grove, LA; 
son, Jeff Daniels of Houston, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Sharon 
Leckie of Lugoff, SC; daughter, Tammy Leckie of West Monroe, LA; three 
grandchildren, Chelsea, Destiny, and Andrew Leckie; great grandchild, Skylar 
Leckie; step children, Ashley Pickett of Longview, TX and April Pickett of TN; 
sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and John Paul Braswell of Oak Grove, LA; 
sister-in-law, Melba Craft of Swartz, LA.

Pallbearers will B. C. Haley, Truman Smith, Gary Bedenbender, Gene Dye, Shorty 
McLemore, Clay Pickett.
