Norman Bryant and Bro. Eddie Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. Pike was born March 26, 1946 in Wisner, LA and passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at his residence. He was the owner of Justice Wrecker Service for 30 years. Mr. Pike was a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church, Theta XI Fraternity, and a NLU alumni. He was a loyal friend, employer, and father. Mr. Pike had an exceptionally loyal and loving heart and never met a stranger, always willing to help others and anyone in need. He was a car enthusiast - loved racing of all types. Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his parents, Lymon and Myrtis Virginia Grayson Pike; and grandparents, Howard and Florence Grayson. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Cheryl Newman Pike; children, Stacy Pike Rutledge and husband John, Tanya Pike Harkins and husband Shannon, Joe Gregory Pike and fiancée Amy Osborne, and Stephanie Paige Pike Smith; grandchildren, JonMark Miletello, Trey Rutledge, Grayson Rutledge, Ellen Grace Smith, Kennedy Smith, Shevy Smith, Brantley Smith, Mallory Rutledge; and special racing buddy and honorary granddaughter, Destany Tarver. Pallbearers will be Justin Waldrop, Jonathan Gibbs, Ryan Hudson, Chad Johnson, Josh Fuselier, Trey Norman, Keith Hunnicutt, and Colby Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be fraternity brothers of Theta XI. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
