PILGREEN Holly Ridge, LA Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA Services for Mrs. Emma L. Pilgreen, 89, of Holly Ridge, LA will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2009, at Holly Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Milton McManus and Rev. Mack Dearman officiating.Interment to follow in Holly Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA. Mrs. Emma was preceded in death by her husband Manning "Nig" Pilgreen, daughter Janelle Pilgreen Smith, grandchildren Donald Wayne Smith, Jr. andMichael Todd Smith. Her greatest accomplishment in life was to know and share the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a charter member of Holly Ridge Baptist Church where she taught youth and young adult Sunday school for 60 years. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and an active volunteer of Rhymes Memorial Library. She is survived by two daughters, Annette Hunt and her husband Asa of Galveston, TX; Sue Jones of Monroe, LA; two sons Manning Michael Pilgreen of Hilton Head, SC and Kenneth Don Pilgreen of Monroe, LA; sister Lozelle Flowers of West Monroe, LA; brother Connie Jones of Natchez, MS; grandchildren, Bickom O'Neal and his wife Linda, Nolan O'Neal Hunt both of Albuquerque, N.M., Demarius Douthit and husband Jim of San Antonio, TX , Will Jones, Jr. Monroe, LA, Marla McMamee, Calera AL, Austin Pilgreen, Blake Pilgreen and Casey Pilgreen all of Monroe, LA and 11 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Austin Pilgreen, Blake Pilgreen, Casey Pilgreen, Will Jones, Jr ., Will Jones, III, Foster Jones, Logan McNamee and Casey O'neal. Memorials may be made to Holly Ridge Baptist Church.
