BONNIE LEE PLETKA

Funeral services for Ms. Bonnie Lee Pletka of West Monroe, La will be 2:00pm 
Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church in 
Monroe, La with Rev. Betty Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, La under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm 
Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the church.

Mrs. Pletka was born November 30, 1944 in Peru, Indiana and passed from this 
life on December 16, 2015 in Monroe, La at the age of 71. She was an avid 
member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church and Soul Sisters Sunday School 
Class. Her family was her life and she loved to spend time with her 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to travel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Pletka; her brothers, Dr. A.G. 
Grant and Robert Grant, and her sisters, Becky Brewer Allison and Laura Jean 
Smyth.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Frost and husband Palmer of 
Downsville, Scarlett Flowers and husband Clay of Vancouver, Canada, Letitia 
Pletka-Reynoso and husband Jim of Ft. Worth, TX and Maura Travis and husband 
Aaron of West Monroe; her sons, Stephen Pletka and wife Donica of Colorado 
Springs, CO, Todd Pletka and wife Michelle and Jeremy Pletka all of West 
Monroe; one sister, Johnette Carmean and husband Paul of Morgantown, WV; 
special niece, Joyce Ann Hughes of Peru, IN; also survived by seventeen 
grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and 
friends.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Ticheli, Timothy Cappo, Jared Pletka, Jonathon 
Cappo, Garrett Cappo, Hunter Frost, Tyler Pletka, Fischer Travis, and Zachary 
Hodge-Pletka.
