GEORGIA REBECCA MONROE POST

Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Rebecca (Becky) Monroe Post, 101, of 
Farmerville, LA will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the 
First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Kurt Auger. 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 5:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. at 
the church. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. Post was born on March 18, 1915 in Lumber Bridge, N.C. and passed away on 
June 12, 2016 in Farmerville, LA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church 
and was in the Farmerville Book Club, Farmerville Bridge Club, and enjoyed 
China painting. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Navy in World War II. She is 
preceded in death by her husband: Benjamin F. Post, parents: Duncan and Ollie 
Monroe, sisters and brothers: David Monroe, Nina Ruth Marrett, and Connie 
Christianson, and granddaughter: Heather Michelle Post.

Survivors are daughter: Marilyn Wade (Thomas), sons: David F. Post, Stephen E. 
Post (Sandra), all of Farmerville, LA; daughter: Susan Post Key (Don) of 
Houston, TX; Grandchildren: Kevin Kelley (Christy), Jason Kelley, Brent Wade, 
Russell Wade (Christa), Stephen Wade (Jennifer), Winston Post (Nicole), Armand 
Post, Holly Bryant (David), Ryan Key (Tanya), Derek Key (Ashley), Great- 
Grandchildren: Austin Desadier, Tori Desadier, Olivia Kelley, Ben Kelley, Colin 
Kelley, Hudson Wade, Conner Wade, Sydney Wade, Cassidy Wade, Wesley Venters, 
Dixie Venters, Millie Venters, Zoe Venters, and Logan Wade, Brady Wade, Drew 
Wade, Duncan Wade, Quinn Post, Ramsey Post, Caroline Bryant, Kamden Bryant, 
Georgia Kate Bryant, Sage Key and Presley Key: special relatives Jon Marrett, 
Roy Post, Mary Post, and Peggy Albritton, special friends Sybil Green, and 
Betty Tettleton.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Stein Baughman, Jr., Tim Tettleton, Glen Post III, 
Thomas T. Fields, Jr., David Wade, and Jon Marrett.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the care of their loved 
one to caregivers; Ruth Mixon, Linda McNeal, Stephie Nute, Lashan Nation and 
the Union General Hospital staff and Dr. Venters.
