HENRY THOMAS JR. POULAN


Funeral Services for Henry Thomas "Tommy" Poulan, Jr., 71, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, West Monroe with Dr. Woods Watson and Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Mr. Poulan was born November 16, 1941 and passed away June 5, 2013. Tommy was 
retired from the Monroe Police Department and was also a veteran of the United 
States Army. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry T. Poulan, Sr. and 
mother, Charlene Poulan.

Survivors include the love of his life, Ina Futch; children, Tammy Poulan Avery 
and husband, Byron, T.C. Poulan Stegall, and Tracy Poulan Shrell and husband, 
Harry; grandchildren, Calley and Sadey Douglas, Slade Avery, Daucie Avery, Ella 
Avery, Christopher Laborde, Hannah Laborde, Megan Laborde, Macie Laborde, Addey 
Stegall, and Alaina Stegall; sister, sister, Jamey Belgard and husband, Cecil; 
his special friend and caregiver, Brian Futch, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Willis Watson, Brian Futch, Marvis Coleman, Christopher 
Laborde, Bill Marsalis, and Roy Bledsoe.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2013 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
