JAMES R. POUNCEY 

James R. Pouncey, 68, retired Petroleum Engineer graduate of Louisiana Tech, 
died August 3, 2010 from an adverse reaction to chemotherapy. He is survived 
by his wife BJ, his mother Edna, daughter Dawn, son-in-law Ryan, son Jamison, 
son JR, daughter-in-law Meredith, daughter Brianna, precious grandchildren 
Courtney, Addison, Dustin, Adele, Chase, and his eight siblings. James was the 
oldest of nine children born to James and Edna Pouncey in Downsville, LA. His 
life joys were watching his children play soccer, listening to Rush Limbaugh 
and Glenn Beck, reading, and watching the wildlife at his lake house. His 
family will be returning his cremates to his hometown for services at Aulds 
Chapel Bible Church at 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2010.
