DAVID L. POUNDERS

Funeral Services for David L. Pounders, 59, of Jonesboro, LA will be held at 
2:00PM Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Frantom Chapel, Chatham with Bro. John 
Austin officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens 
Cemetery, Calhoun under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

David was born on April 24, 1957 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on 
November 18, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. He was the owner and operator of 
Pounder's Tree Service. David loved to hunt and fish, especially watching 
hunting shows, but most of all; he loved and adored his wife, children and 
grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Ethel Pounders; children, Kala 
Johnson and husband Stanley, Catherine Theard and husband Matthew; 
grandchildren, Nick, Caitlin, Corbon, Havanah, Abby, Harper, Cody, Dixie, 
and Morgan; great-granddaughter, Briley; sister, Betty Fallin and husband 
Jr.; brother, Ronnie Pounders; sisters-in-law, Mary Dunn and husband Carl, 
Martha "Bo" Perritt and husband Bobby, Donna Massey and husband Ronnie, 
Cookie Murphy and husband Lil Joe; brother-in-law, Roy Harper and wife 
Charlotte; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of his "adopted" children.

Pallbearers will be Edgar Morales, Jeffery Osborne, Nick McMillan, Lucky 
Patrick, James Huey, Steven Reeves, and Richard Dunn.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 
at Frantom Chapel, Chatham.
