Funeral services for Lt. Erman Hall Powell, (E.H.), 84, of Monroe, LA will be 
held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Trey Albritton officiating. Interment 
will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Powell passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 while in the Richardson 
Medical Center in Rayville, LA. He retired after 28.8 years, from the 
Louisiana State Police-Troop F, Monroe, LA. He next retired, after 13 years, 
from the Motor Vehicle Police.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Opal Powell; his 
parents, Levi and Linnie Powell; and four sisters.

Survivors include his son, John Powell of Monroe, LA and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Downhour, Ray Nelson, Roy Walton, Buddy Hart, Marvin 
Hayes, and Orville Renfrow. The Louisiana State Police-Troop F Honor Guard 
will stand in honor for one of their fellow officers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

I would like to thank Dr. David Thompson and the staff of the Rayville Nursing 
and Rehabilitation Center, Rayville, LA for taking such loving care of my 
father.
