REX L. POWELL

Mr. Rex L. Powell, 63, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 in Jena, Louisiana. 
He worked for the Louisiana Department of Corrections.

Mr. Powell was born July 9, 1951 in Urania, Louisiana to the union of Jasper 
Stanley and Clara Mae (Babcock) Powell.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister: Judy McKeithen.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Cindy (Wright) Powell of Jena, 
mother Clara Powell of Nesbitt, Mississippi. Three sisters: Peggy Welch and 
Maxine Smith, both of Olla, and Nedra Hall and husband John of Nesbitt, 
Mississippi. A brother: Stanley Ford and wife Brenda of Trout.
