Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time for services on Friday, December 2nd, at the Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Committal services and burial will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 2nd, at Roselawn Cemetery, Calhoun, Louisiana. Jane Brimberry Pratt was born October 7, 1944 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Earl Clark Brimberry and Madie Mills Brimberry. She passed away unexpectedly at her home in Bastrop, Louisiana on November 30, 2016. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Earl Clark Brimberry, Jr. Jane was a graduate of Neville High School and Louisiana State University where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She was a former Spanish teacher at Prarie View Academy, Bastrop High School, and St. Fredrick's Catholic School. Mrs. Pratt also held membership in the Delta Kappa Gamma teacher's sorority. Jane was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bastrop and served the Lord and her church through the Episcopal Church Women (E.C.W.) and the Alter Guild. Mrs. Pratt is survived by her husband, Claude Pratt, DDS; three children, Earl Files and his wife, Hollie, John Files and his wife, Jennifer, and Wendy DePodesta and her husband, Art. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, David Sylar DePodesta, Catherine Files, Susan Files, Avery- Grace Files, and Noah Files. Serving as pallbearers are Earle Files, John Files, Art DePodesta, Tom Thrower, Cole Sims, and Joey Kennedy.
