JOHN H. PRESTRIDGE

Funeral services for John H. Prestridge, 74 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe. Bro. Don Deluke will be officiating. Interment will follow 
at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. John was born January 14, 1938 in Waterproof, LA and passed away 
peacefully at his home in West Monroe on September 16, 2012.

Mr. John is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sylvia Prestridge; 3 children: 
Donald Prestridge, Kimberly Lenard and husband Rusty, and Ronald Prestridge, 
and 2 grandchildren: Jessica Lenard Thornhill and husband Matthew and Ian 
Prestridge. 

Those blessed enough to have known Mr. John know just how special he truly 
was. Mr. John was happiest driving around on his John Deere tractor, catching 
a snooze in his chair, or spoiling Mrs. Sylvia's babies. If you were lucky, he 
might even threaten to send you to the "woodpile." And there was no greater 
honor than Mr. John asking if you wanted to join him for a cup of coffee. He 
truly was a special man, one of a kind, who will never be replaced. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes West Monroe.
