Born February 22, 1931 in San Angelo, TX, she graduated from San Angelo High School. Betty married her childhood-sweetheart, Bill Price who was her best friend and soul mate for 56 years. They enjoyed traveling, bowling, card games, and church work. Betty was a Children's Bible Class teacher for over 50 years, teaching until age 70. Never one to complain, she was a gracious, loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was especially proud of her family for whom she enjoyed cooking homemade pies, candies, enchiladas and holiday dishes. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She is survived by 3 daughters, Karen Jantz (Ken) Shreveport, LA, Kathy Schlottman, West Monroe, LA, and Kelly Walters (Larry), Conway, AR; 7 grandchildren, Carl Underwood (Heather) Shreveport, LA, Jonnie Underwood (Madison Shuey, Fiancée), Shreveport, LA, Heather Ford (Chris), West Monroe, LA, Jeramy Schlottman, West Monroe, LA, Scott Walters (Emily) Mt. Juliet, TN, Lindsey Walters, Conway, AR, Clay Walters, Searcy, AR; 10 Great- Grandchildren , Breanna, Maggie, & Matt Underwood, Shreveport, LA, Jackson & Autumn Ford, West Monroe, LA, and Daisy, John Price, Annalynn & Cole Walters, Mt. Juliet, TN, and Harper McHenry of Conway, AR. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. graveside service, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA, with Chaplain Sam Procell officiating. The family would like to thank the Staff of Heritage Manor Stratmore for their comfort and tender care.
