WILLIAM PRICE

Funeral services for Mr. William Price Sr. of Monroe, LA will be held 2pm 
Sunday, May 8, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe with Rev. 
Aaron Dickinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
in Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Visitation will 
be Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Price was born August 28, 1939 in Sicily Island, LA and passed from this 
life on May 4, 2016 in Monroe at the age of 76. He was a retired mechanic and 
loved spending time with his family. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Marie Price; parents, Mary and 
Miles Trichel; grandmother, Leomie Sykes.

Survivors include his partner, Mary Alice Day of Swartz; children, Betty 
Youngblood, Jimmy "Boy", Denise, Dean, Shelia and Josh Price all of Monroe; 
also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
