David Willoughby officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Mrs. Prince was born May 17, 1937 in Enterprise, LA and passed from this earth on December 11, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of College Place Baptist Church and was also a teacher, a loving mother to her children and a devoted caregiver to children in need. Mrs. Prince was preceded in death by her parents John Wesley Haygood and Julia Earline Boothe-Haygood; brother Buck Haygood; and sisters Lorraine Vallas, Cecil Anderson, Ruth Evans, and Joyce Sivils. Survivors include her husband Oscar Eugene Prince, Jr.; sister Juanita Mason; brothers Larry Haygood and Wayne Haygood; daughters Lisa Cole and husband David, Patti Copeland and husband James, Rhonda Branning and husband Andrew; son Jimmy Busby and wife Tammy; stepchildren Debra Downing, Karen Green, Daniel Prince, Ronnie Prince, and Jason Davis; 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren Pallbearers will be Christopher and Cameron Copeland, Shelby and Dillon Woodard, and Brandon and Jonathon Busby. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 until 11 AM at Calvary Baptist Church.
