LUCILLE ANN BAXTER PRUETT

Funeral services for Lucille Ann Baxter Pruett will be held at 11:00 A.M., 
Friday, November 18, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe. Rev. Woods Watson will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Pruett was born March 17, 1926 in Poteau, Oklahoma and passed away 
November 15, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of First Baptist 
Church in West Monroe where she taught many Sunday School classes. She was 
also a member of Anita Watson's Sunday School Class. Lucille enjoyed writing 
and loved encouraging others with letters. She worked alongside her husband 
as co-owner of Bayou Utilities and JHP Construction Co. Mrs. Pruett was 
preceded in death by her son, Jeff Pruett.

Pallbearers will be Bo Scott, Michael Scott, Aaron Pruett, John J. Pruett, 
Jackson Pruett, and Kenny Scott.

Mrs. Pruett is survived by her husband of 72 years, John H. Pruett, Jr.; 
sons, John Pruett, III and Andrew Pruett and wife Brenda; daughter, Laurie 
Scott and husband Kenny; grandsons; John Jeffery Pruett, John Aaron Pruett, 
Bo Scott, Michael Scott, Jackson Baxter Pruett; granddaughter, Katie Scott; 
great-granddaughter, Kennedy Anne Scott.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 
17, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
