Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mr. Pruitt was born January 7, 1942 in Dabney, AR and passed away November 10, 2012 in Monroe, LA. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Graphic Packaging with over 38 years of service, was an active member of Evergreen Park Baptist Church and a devoted Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Nancy Pruitt and his first wife, Ann Pruitt and 5 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife Kim Pruitt; four children, Timothy Ray Pruitt and wife Debbie, James Allen Pruitt and wife Michelle, Jim Sims, and Billie Jean Sims; two sisters, Eunice Dailey and Marie Fortune; one brother Royce Pruitt; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Clint Pruitt, Lee Gullick, Floyd Swopes, John Dailey, Lee Fortune, and David Pruitt. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
