REBECCA JEAN PYLANT

Memorial Services celebrating the life of Ms. Rebecca Jean Pylant, 69, of 
Ruston, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Culberton Baptist 
Church in Farmerville with Rev. Bob Jackson, Rev. Wendell Sellars, and Rev. 
Jeff May officiating.

Mrs. Pylant was born July 9, 1945 in Walkers, OK and passed from this life on 
March 11, 2015 surrounded by her family in Ruston, LA. She was a faithful 
member of the Baptist faith. Ms. Pylant loved to knit, crochet, watching 
humming birds, playing cards, checkers, and puzzles. She was an avid artist. 
Her most prized possession was spending time with family and friends. She was a 
loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. Ms. Pylant is 
preceded in death by her husband, Elvis L. Pylant and parents, Clay and Grace 
Carroll.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, Donna Pylant; Ricky Pylant 
and wife Tammy, and Jamie Pylant and wife Missy; five grandchildren, Caleb 
Pylant, Caine Pylant, Garrett Pylant, Maggie Pylant, Grayson Pylant; and one 
great-granddaughter, Addison Pylant; two sisters, Janet Kindred and Cathy 
Trotter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; god-daughter, Samantha 
Wingard Fowler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital .

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 
2015 at church.
