Camille Boddie Poindexter died July 12, 1993, aged 79, at St. Francis 
Medical Center. She was buried at Riverside Cemetary off Jackson Street. 
She was a prominent retired Monroe businesswoman loved and respected by 
the Monroe community. She was very active in local and state political 
affairs for many years.
