DALTON "COTTON" QUARLES E. Dalton "Cotton" Quarles died peacefully on 12/25/12 at NWLWVH in Bossier City, LA. He was born 8/1/1928 in Bienville, LA. He was 84. Cotton retired from Nation Bro.'s as an expert sausage maker and continued making sausage at his home for family and friends for many years. His love for life was playing music and entertaining everyone he met with his never ending stories and jokes. Being a renowned muscian he played with Buck Owens, Louisiana Hayride and numerous others in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his parents Osborn and Hattie May Quarles. He is survived by his sister Martha Walker of Palacious,TX and niece Carolyn Gimber of Saline, LA whom was his constant companion and care provider. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Mt. Olive East Cemetery in Quitman, LA. Services are under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
