QUINN Graveside Services for John P. "Jack" Quinn, of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00PM Monday, December 22, 2014 at St. Paschal's Cemetery with Fr. Joe Puthuppally officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Jack was born on December 17, 1922 in Millville, NJ and passed away on December 15, 2014 in Monroe, LA. He served in WWII in the AAF. Jack was first sent to Tech Supply School in Chillicothe, Missouri where he met his future wife, Mary Lou O'Brien. He was later sent to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater, CBI. He worked at the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank for 40 years. After retirement, he and his wife moved to West Monroe, LA. They were members of St. Paschal's and later of St. Matthew Catholic Churches. Jack loved to bowl, fish and play golf. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lou Quinn; parents, Timothy and Bertha Quinn; and brother, Paul J. Quinn. Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" Geter and husband Joe Sr. of Ruston, LA, Sharon Cronin and husband Keith of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Lisa Johnston and husband Scott of Minden, LA and Gregory Dunn and wife Valerie of Cave Springs, AR; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Elizabeth Dunn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Special thanks to Dr. J.D. Bruchhaus, Dr. J. Smith, Jr., Dr. N. Jain, and the staff of St. Francis Medical Center SICU and 5th floor. Also, a very special thank you to the staff of The Arbor and Terrace of Ruston, where Mr. Quinn resided for the last four years.
