ROBERT EDWARD "BOBBY" RABB Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Graveside Services for Mr. Robert Edward "Bobby" Rabb, 57, of Downsville, LA will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12, 2009 in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Ron Lowe officiating. Interment will be in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Rabb was born on December 5, 1951 in Monroe, LA and lost his battle with Cancer at his brother's home with his family at his side on March 10, 2009. Bobby traveled all over with his pipeline job, where he was a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Rabb served in the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and dearly loved all of his family and friends. He never met a stranger and would give you the last dime in his pocket or the shirt off his back. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Rabb, Sr. and Mildred Tidwell Rabb Tolbird; and his brother, Jim Rabb. Survivors include his three daughters, Angel Cowan and husband Shawn, Robyn Renee Mizell and husband Justin and Crystal Craig and husband Steven; four granddaughters, Ashlie Laren Cowan, Samantha Renee Craig, Catherine Elizabeth Craig and Breanna Diane Mizell. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, Fran Holloway and husband Roy, Mary Kimble and husband John Harly, Brenda Carr, Joe Rabb and wife Wanda and Richard Rabb; numerous nieces and nephews, aunt and uncle, Clara and Vincy Tidwell; several cousins and his best friends, Jeannie Parker and Suzan Troup. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA and from 12:00 PM until service time Thursday at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Family would like to give special thanks to Angela Short and Glenda Lewis and the rest of the staff Southern Care Hospice.
