CARL TRAVIS RAWLS

Funeral services for Carl Travis "Red" Rawls, age 84, of Epps, LA will be held 
at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Plum Grove Apostolic Church, Pioneer, 
LA with Rev. Tommy Terry, Rev. Raymond Gill, and Rev. Melvin Reagan 
officiating. Burial will follow in the Rawls Family Cemetery, Epps, LA under 
the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.

Red was born February 16, 1928 and passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Mr. Rawls was a member of the Plum Grove Apostolic Church. He was a Navy 
veteran and 20 year member of the West Carroll School Board.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruth Rawls of Epps, LA; children, 
Travis Rawls and wife, Linda of Epps, LA, Shirley Farrar and husband, Randy of 
Fredonia, KS, Mitchell Rawls and wife, Brenda of Pioneer, LA, and Linda 
Blaylock and husband, Everett of Epps, LA; grandchildren, Tonya Reagan, Andrea 
Morris, Brian Rawls, Amanda Woodring, Natasha Willett, Cherie Starbuck, Shane 
Cobb, Katrina Thornton, Stacie Rawls, Justin Rawls, Carl Blaylock, Tina 
Morris, Michelle Adcox, and Casey Blaylock; 35-great grandchildren and 1-great-
great granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2012 at Plum 
Grove Apostolic Church in Pioneer, LA.
