Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Redding was born on April 17, 1924 in Caldwell Parish, LA and passed away on December 22, 2015 in Monroe, LA. In her early years, she owned and operated three Café's with her mother and father, the Home Café, Daws Café and Night and Day Café. She loved reading books, playing Scrabble and also playing Bingo. Mrs. Redding is preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Redding; parents, John and Onie Daws; brother, Johnny Ray Daws and by a grandson, Matthew Garrison. Survivors include her sons, Mike Garrison, Robin Redding and Reggie Redding; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mike Garrison, Mark Garrison, Ryne Redding, Gene Berry, Tim Brown, and Richard Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Berry, Bill Berry and Randy Redding. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
