WILHELMINA JONES REMBERT

Wilhelmina "Willa" Jones Rembert was born in Rayville, LA on October 22, 1925 
to Richard T. Jones and Lillian Haire Jones. Willa passed away in West Monroe, 
LA and entered Heaven's Gates on June 10, 2016 at the age of 90.

A loving mother with an unwavering faith in God, Willa was a dedicated member 
of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe. She was very involved with First 
Baptist and taught Sunday school classes there until recently.

Willa is survived by her sister, Jeanette Aycock and daughter, Crystal R. 
Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; Starlia Noel, Brenda 
Wilson, Jennifer Sweeney, Jeff Aycock, Jay Aycock, Gary Allen Jones, Patricia 
Roshto, Sharon J. Smith, Beverly McGlothlin and their wonderful families.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Rembert, their son, Richard 
Rembert and four brothers and sisters, Claudine Jones McGlothlin, Winfred 
Wesley Jones, Otis R. Jones and Maxine Jones McKay.

Thank you to the family members who provided care, support and love to Willa in 
her final months. Any donations made in her memory should be made to First 
Baptist Church of West Monroe. Private memorial services will be held at a 
later date.
