Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral home in Monroe. The memorial service will be at 1 pm March 9, 2015, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. She married Sammy "Bill" Reppond in 1941, who preceded her in death as did her sister Ruth and brothers Roland and Dale. During the war, she was employed in an aircraft factory making B-24 Liberator bombers. She later became a licensed practical nurse and worked in various hospitals and nursing homes. She always enjoyed sewing and especially quilting leaving a beautiful legacy of quilts for family and friends. The family wants to thank the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's Assisted Living for taking such good care of her during her last years with us. She is survived by sons, Kermit and Phil, daughters-in laws, Sharon and Jan, grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander, Kelly, and Jenna and her husband Michael, and great-grandson, Maxwell.
