Willie Welch and Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014 and from 8:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Thelma Satcher Reynaud, 92, formerly of Alexandria, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Ridgecrest Community Care Center in West Monroe, La. Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Reynaud; parents, Henry and Ira Delaney Satcher; son, Lloyd Reynaud; 2 brothers, Calvin Satcher, Gene Satcher; 1 granddaughter, Shellie Huffty. Thelma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her dog Sugar and preparing meals for her family. Thelma was a long time member of Latanier Baptist Church and more recently New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe. Those left to cherish her memories include her children: 2 daughters, Faye Huffty (Stan) of West Monroe, LA. and Donna Welch (Willie) of Brookhaven, MS.; 2 sons, Buddy Reynaud (Bonnie) of Pineville, LA., and Darrell Reynaud (Heather) of Gardner, LA.; 1 brother, Milton Satcher of Monroe, LA.; 2 sisters- in-law, Maryann Satcher of Ruston, LA. and Nell Satcher of Woodville, MS.; 1 daughter-in-law, Sissy Reynaud of Woodworth, LA; 10 grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Ridgecrest Community Care Center for the love and care they showed our mother. Pallbearers honored to serve will be her grandsons.
