BILLY JOE RHODES

Funeral services for Billy Joe Rhodes, 53, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 
PM Friday, March 27, 2015 in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington 
Road, Monroe, with Rev. Wes Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at 
Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Billy was born March 31, 1961 in Lake Providence, LA, and passed away from this 
life on March 23, 2015, in Monroe, LA, following a lengthy illness. Billy 
graduated from Neville High School and was a member of Swartz First Baptist 
Church. Billy was a person who always had a smile on his face and never met a 
stranger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe. C. Rhodes.

Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Hill Rhodes; sister, Jeannie Rhodes 
Soister; nieces, Amy Soister and fiancé Jamie Allison, Ashley Soister Grove and 
husband Brett Grove; great nephew, Pearson Grove; and great niece, Presley 
Grove, all of Monroe.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Allison, Brett Grove, Mark Soister, Gary Young, Joey 
Smith, and Daren Rindt. Honorary pallbearer will be Pearson Grove.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2015 from 12:00 PM noon until service 
time.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Avalon Place 
and special friend, Joanne Kennedy.
