JANE CRAWFORD RICE

A celebration of Life for Jane Crawford Rice will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, 
September 5, 2015 at Rayville Presbyterian Church, 824 Julia St, Rayville, LA 
71269 with Rev. John Albright officiating under the direction of Brown-Holley 
Funeral Home, Rayville.

Jane was born May 4, 1942, to the union of Grace M. Hales and Virgil Crawford 
in Monroe and passed away from this life on August 16, 2015 at the Richardson 
Medical Center, Rayville.

She was a graduate of Neville High School and Northeast Louisiana University 
(ULM). Jane was employed with Central Bank for many years and retired as 
Regional Sales director for Selected Funeral and Life Insurance Company of Hot 
Springs, AR. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, P.E.O. Sisterhood, 
Chapter BB of Monroe and Thursday Bible Study at Rayville Presbyterian Church. 
Jane had a compassion for rescue animals, her puppies, flowers, and collecting 
most anything!

Jane is preceded in death by her mother, Grace and sister, Diane Crawford; her 
maternal grandparents, Alex A. and Ola Jane Gray Hales of Archibald and 
paternal grandparents, Clifton and Ida Joyner Crawford of Rayville.

She is survived by her father, Virgil Crawford of Rayville; maternal aunt, 
Thelma Moon of Farmerville and paternal aunt, Ethelle Fountain of Westhampton 
Beach, NY; her constant companions, Gizzie, Rah Rah, and Bart. Jane's passing 
will be mourned by a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation is 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM, Saturday September 5, 
2015 at Rayville Presbyterian Church.

Any planned memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Rayville 
Presbyterian Church, or the charity of your choice
