Burial will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Alice Joyce Richardson was born on October 18, 1928, in West Monroe, LA, and passed away on July 2, 2010 in Farmerville, LA. She was a gentle and giving person and was loved by everyone who had the privilege to be a part of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Richardson Jr., and grand son, Jason Powell; two sisters Jean Kilcrease, and Sybil Olson. She is survived by her son Robert L. Richardson III of Rocky Branch, LA; daughter-in-law Denise A. Richardson of Rocky Branch, LA; daughter, Terri Lynn Powell of Gainesville, GA; son-in-law Kim V. Powell of Gainesville, GA; two brothers, Charles "Sonny" Morris of Butternut, Wisconsin; Arthur Spearman of Hammond, LA; three sisters, Sylvia Thomas and Helen Kerr of Baytown, TX., and Martha Gills of Gurdon, AR; grandsons, Richard Powell of Rocky Branch, LA; and Jon Lane Richardson of Sterlington, LA; granddaughters, Allison Ainsworth of Gainesville, GA; and Wendy Jones of West Monroe, LA; and ten great grand children. Pallbearers are Richard Powell, Richie Brantley, Boone Brantley, Jon Lane Richardson, Jimmy Jones and Bobby Godina. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church. Donations may be made to the Southern Hospice Care.
