ELAINE AMMONS RICKS

Memorial services for Elaine Ammons Ricks, 94, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 
AM Saturday, June 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Swartz with Rev. Jeff 
Smart officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under 
the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Ricks passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was a sweet, special lady 
who loved her Savior, her family, and her friends. Mrs. Ricks had a special 
place in her heart for her friend and caregiver, Mary Crymes. It made her happy 
that many of her friends at First Baptist Church of Swartz, where she 
worshipped, called her mama or granny. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Parks and husband Raymond of Swartz, and 
Sharon Hillgardner of Arlington, TX; step daughter, Linda Ricks of West Monroe; 
stepson, Kirt Ricks of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Betsy Forrest; 
grandsons, Ray Parks and wife Debbie, James Parks, John Parks and wife Sandy, 
and Steve Berry; step granddaughters, Randi Canterberry Stanton and Dawn 
Canterberry James; step grandsons, Matt Canterberry, and Christopher Ricks; 
great granddaughters, Lina Elaine Parks, and Katrina Smith and husband Eric; 
great grandsons, Christopher Stovall, Evan and Brandon Berry, and Jesse Forrest.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
