RISER Funeral services Mr. Alton Theron (Buddy) Riser, Jr., 67, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA with Dr. Kurt Auger officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA. Mr. Riser died November 3, 2012 from 4-wheeler injuries sustained while hunting near Paonia, CO, doing what he loved, surrounded by his lifelong friends and family. Buddy was retired from Entergy as a supervisor after 44 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton Theron Riser, Sr., and Ollie Mae Harlan Riser. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Mary Adams Riser; son, Trey Riser and wife, Kelly; daughters, Marcia Parker and husband, Scott, Therese Nagem and husband, Sammy, Leigh Liles and husband, Bart, Anna Holloway and husband, Kyle; grandchildren, Trevor, Ethan, Aidan, Colby, Ellie, Traylor, Mary Blake, William, and Emma; sisters, Pansy Tullos and husband, Brad, Patsy McClanahan and husband, Don; brothers, Bob Tom Riser and wife, Judy and Ben Joe Riser and wife, Gloria; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Heath Massey, Brian McClanahan, Clint Jackson, Seth Riser, Adam Riser, and Jared Riser. Honorary Pallbearer will be Benjamin Riser. Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2012, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA and Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA.
