She was born September 17, 1938 in Monroe, Louisiana, to Ulysse Victor Rivoire, Sr. and Alice Rivoire. Jeannette graduated from high school at St. Matthews in Monroe and attended Loyola University in New Orleans and Northeast Louisiana State College in Monroe where she graduated with a BS Degree in Mathematics. She had a long tenure focused on Naval Missal Testing and test results analysis at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Baltimore Maryland. While at APL, she completed her Masters of Science Degree at Johns Hopkins. Following that, she worked for GE in King of Prussia, PA supporting the Missile Defense program. Through a series of company acquisitions, she ended up working for Lockheed-Martin until she retired. She was actively involved with the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and her efforts were recognized by the association. Jeannette had a charitable heart and contributed to a myriad of children, veterans, and public service organizations. Jeannette was best known as beloved "Aunt Jeannette" by her many nieces and nephews who were loved as if they were her own children. Because of Aunt Jeannette, their lives were made richer and their hearts fuller. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews as well as her brother John R. Rivoire, Sr. A Memorial Prayer service will be held on September 20, 2014, at 1:00 pm at St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery on Washington Street.
