JAMES H. "SKILLET" ROACH
Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Ruston, LA

Funeral services for Mr. James H. "Skillet" Roach, age 92, of Choudrant, LA. 
will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Alabama 
Presbyterian Church in Sibley, LA. Rev. Bill Willis will officiate with burial 
to follow in the Sibley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home in Ruston, LA.

Mr. Roach was born on May 18, 1917 and passed away on July 12, 2009.

Mr. Roach was a member of Alabama Presbyterian Church in Sibley and was an 
honorably discharged World War II veteran of the United States Army. He served 
as a member of the 204AA Aircraft National Guard and the 155 Infantry National 
Guard. Mr. Roach was a Louisiana Tech graduate and retired from O'Neal Gas as 
a dispatch manager.

Mr. Roach is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Davis Roach of Choudrant, LA; two 
sons: James E. Roach & wife, Sherry of Haynesville, LA. and David Roach & 
wife, Beckie of Choudrant, LA; four grandchildren: James D. Roach & wife, 
Dawn; Kayla Winham & husband, Marvin; Angela Tuggle & husband, Lane; and 
Robert Roach & wife, Kim; seven great grand children: Stephen and Philip 
Winham; Jacob, Jonah, Jonathan Roach; and Chandler and Charlie Tuggle; 
brother: Robert Davis "Junior" Roach; sister: Virginia Elliott; numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: James David Roach, Lane Tuggle, Rob Roach, Jimmy 
Williams, Bobby Smith, and David Hammons.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John Arch O'Neil, Marshall Boyd, and Gerald 
Sanderson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 
P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
