Marcia J. Roberson

Funeral services for Mrs. Marcia J. Roberson, 86, of Sterlington, LA, will be 
held at 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Jim Davis officiating. Interment will 
follow in Twin Cities Memorial Garden Cemetery.


Mrs. Roberson passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at St. Francis North 
Hospital. She was a retired U. S. Postmaster in Sterlington, LA and a United 
States Army veteran of WWII. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and 
sister.


Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Willie L. “Bill” Roberson; 
daughters, Kathy Holloway and husband Robert, and Vickie Walker and husband 
Gary; grandchildren, Jeremy Coon, Joel Coon, Tara Holloway, Gavin Walker, 
Clint Holloway, Joshua Walker, Nathanael Walker, Michael Holloway, and Amie 
Holloway; great granddaughter, Carolina Coon; sister, Neva Telford and husband 
Leon; brother, Carrol Joiner; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family 
members.


Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.


Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
