WILLIAM “GENE”  ROBERSON

Funeral services for Mr. William "Gene" Roberson, 62, of Sterlington, LA will 
be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Farmerville. Officiating will be Dennis Hackler. Visitation 
will be held from 1:00 P.M. till time of service in the Chapel. Interment will 
follow in Liberty at Linville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
of Farmerville, LA.

Mr. Roberson was born on November 8, 1953 in Monroe, LA and passed away on 
August 12, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Heavy 
Equipment Operator and an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his mother, 
Gaye Jenny Roberson.

Survivors include his wife Katherine Roberson of Sterlington, LA; father, 
William Dewey Roberson of Haile, LA; sons, Anthony Roberson of Haile, LA; 
Gerard Roberson of Monroe, LA; daughter, Ashley Roberson of Sterlington, LA; 
three grandchildren, Ariel Holley, Dallas Holley, and Angel Holley; brother, 
Richard Roberson and wife Pam of Haile, LA; sister, Lucy Woods and husband 
Albert of Farmerville, LA; brother, David Roberson of Haile, LA; and numerous 
nieces, nephews, and other family relatives. 

Pallbearers will be Jerry Hobson, Ronnie Hobson, Reggie Hobson, Todd Jenny, 
Heath Woods, Russell Roberson, and Johnny Roberson. 

Honorary Pallbearer will be best friend Roger Stripland. 

Special thanks to Dr. Weinberger and the Oncology staff of Monroe and Dr. 
Ivling of the Cancer Institute in Monroe and Dr. Keith Calhoun.
