MARGIE HALE ROBERTS

Funeral services for Margie Hale Roberts, 84, will be held at 1:00 PM, 
Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Downsville, 
Louisiana, with The Reverend J.B. Collingsworth officiating. Interment will 
follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of 
Farmerville.

Margie was born May 5, 1927, and passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was 
a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many 
years, and was a retired mail carrier in Downsville.

Preceding Margie in death were her husband James Roberts; son-in-law Joe 
Aulds; parents Jim and Bessie Hale of Litroe, brothers K.B. Hale, Clifton 
Hale, Raymond Hale, Troy Hale, James Hale, Jesse Hale, and Harvey Hale; 
sisters Faye Maxey, Claudia Ruth Tatum, Mary Murray, and Nell Wallace.

She is survived by her daughters Connie Aulds of Coppell, Texas, and Donna 
Littleton and Ronnie of Farmerville, Louisiana; grandchildren Tara Aulds 
Williford, Amanda Aulds Sherzer, Brady Littleton, and Jada Littleton; and 
great grand-daughters Ella Claire Williford, Gracie Williford, Maggie 
Williford, and Emma Sherzer; several brother and sister-in-laws and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the 
funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 792 Hwy. 552, Downsville, 
LA 71234 or a charity of your choice.
