West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Harold Ray Roberts, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Rev. Oda W. (Tuck) Roberts will officiate. 
Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens, 8729 Cypress Street 
West Monroe, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, 
LA.

Mr. Roberts was born May 3, 1930 in Eros, LA and passed away February 8, 2009 
in West Monroe, LA. He spent many years in West Monroe as a local grocery 
owner and later in Mississippi as a restaurant owner. Mr. Roberts was a 
veteran of the United States Army and served as a welder. At time of death, 
Mr. Roberts was a fuel center attendant for Brookshire's Grocery in West 
Monroe.

He was preceded in death by father and mother, Lula Brown and Lee Roberts, and 
half-brother, Gene Roberts.

Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Sharon Roberts of Eros, 
daughter, Laticia R. Davis of West Monroe, daughter, Kay Roberts of Caledonia, 
MS, daughter, Lesli Hudson of Arizona, daughter, Ashley Davis of Arizona, half-
brother, Thomas L. Roberts of Rogers, Arkansas, grandson, Brandon Roberts of 
Monroe, two granddaughters, Julie Ratcliff and husband Jeff of Allen, TX, and 
Lindsay Murphy and husband Andy of Oxford, MS. one great-granddaughter, Reese 
McKensey Ratcliff of Allen, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Roberts, Kenneth Dickerson, Malcom Dickerson, Fred 
Glover, Andy Murphy, Jeff Ratcliff, Johnny Roberts and Gary Roberts.

Music will be by Len McCaa, co-worker and friend of the deceased and Lindsay 
Murphy, granddaughter of the deceased.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
