MICHAEL SHANE ROBERTS

Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Michael Shane Roberts, 30, of 
West Monroe, LA, will be 3:00 PM Sunday, December 21, 2014, in the chapel of 
Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with Phillip Bedenbender officiating.

Mr. Roberts was born September 25, 1984, in Topeka, KS and passed away on 
December 16, 2014, in Alexandria, LA. Michael enjoyed playing video games and 
fishing. Mr. Roberts was a hard worker and employed with Highway Graphics. He 
loved spending time with his family and friends especially during the Holidays. 
Michael always had a smile on his face and loved making people laugh. He is 
preceded in death by his parents, William Ray Roberts, Sr. and Rita Ann Pitarro 
and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include: his fiancée, Anne Tatro; two children, Kaitlin Krejci and 
Abby Guirlando; brother, William Ray Roberts, II, sisters, Mary Ann Jenkins, 
Lillian Marie Roberts, Anna Bamburg, Mary Lue Bamburg Boatright, Kerri Bamburg 
Perkins, Brandy Bamburg Bangas, and Carmen Bellard; two nephews and one on the 
way; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the first responders, 
Louisiana State Troopers, the physicians and nursing staff at Rapides Regional 
Medical Center, Griffin Funeral Home, and Highway Graphics.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at the 
funeral home.
