ELSIE MCPETERS ROBERTS

Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie McPeters Roberts, 85, of West Monroe will be 
held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, April 24, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe, LA. Bro. Eddie Shoemaker will officiate. Interment 
will follow at Chatham Cemetery, Chatham, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home Monroe.

Mrs. Roberts was born on February 2, 1931 in New Hope, Alabama to the union of 
Virgil and Effie McPeters. She passed from this life on April 21, 2016 in West 
Monroe. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents and her husband 
Clifford B. Roberts of 48 years, and seven sisters and brothers.

Mrs. Roberts was survived by her children, Joyce (Rex) McCargar, Eldon, MO, 
Wanda (Tad) Berryman, West Monroe, LA. Mike (Connie) Roberts, West Monroe, LA; 
grandchildren, Jason (Kristen) McCargar, Stacy John, Shaun (Shelly) Bennett, 
Texas, Dustin (Angela) Bennett, West Monroe, LA; great-grandchildren, Abby and 
Landon McCargar, Tyler John, Kay May, Aubrey and Jace Bennett, Stella and 
Sophie Bennett, and one special little man, Jaxson that called her mamaw rocks.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Bennett, Shaun Bennett, Tyler John, Tad Berryman, 
Ricky Sims, Paul Sims.

The Roberts family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff at 
Landmark Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home 1200 Lamy Lane Monroe, LA.
