JOHN CHARLES III. ROBERTS

Graveside services for Mr. John Charles Roberts, III, age 55 of Ruston, will 
be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Douglas Cemetery with Ricky 
Edmiston officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial 
Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Pee Wee was born January 13, 1961 in Houston, TX to John Charles Roberts, 
Jr. and Sally Williams Roberts. He died August 22, 2016 in Ruston. Mr. 
Roberts was raised in Cleveland, TX, the oldest of four children. He loved 
fishing, growing blueberries, and taking care of his yard. He also enjoyed 
woodworking. Pee Wee grew up in the auto parts store, most recently working 
at Bumper to Bumper in West Monroe.

Pee Wee is survived by his brothers: Micheal Roberts and wife Melanie of 
Houston, TX and Anthony Roberts and wife Melanie of Coldspring, TX; children 
of the heart: Charlie Younse and wife Denise of Pecos, TX and Holly Younse 
of Choudrant, LA; nieces: Jessica Scarborough and husband Jason and Ashley 
Anderson; nephews: Hunter Roberts, Aiden Roberts and Ryan Roberts; step 
grandchild: Allison Younse; great nephews: Rayne Scarborough and Maddox 
Scarborough; and great niece: Mary Olivia Scarborough. He is also survived 
by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Roberts is preceded in 
death by his parents; his sister: Mary Anne Roberts Anderson; his 
grandparents: Jim and Janie Williams and John and Dora Marie Roberts.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Williams, Joe Williams, Cole Edmiston, Jason 
Scarborough, Buddy Williams and Hunter Roberts. Visitation will be held on 
Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Alabama 
Presbyterian Church Family Life Center in Sibley near Choudrant
