Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe. Ruby Lee Robertson passed away after a long illness on February 2, 2016 in Randolph, New Jersey. Born in Swartz, Louisiana, she lived most of her life in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rube and Bertha (Blackwell) Halley; her husband, Jack Alden Robertson; and her Aunt Aline Blackwell. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Alden Robertson and his wife Kayla and her daughter, Ruby Robertson Knox and her husband Frank. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Melanie, Trav and Nikki Robertson from South Carolina. Ruby Lee graduated from Ouachita Parish High School. Following a business degree from Bish Mathis Institute, she worked for her father's welding company and continued to master her skills as a corporate assistant. After marriage to Jack she contributed her passion for bookkeeping, managing the family owned business of Exxon gas. She was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe for over 50 years. In 2004, she moved to Randolph, New Jersey to live with her daughter and son- in-law. She will be remembered for her ability to take charge and manage any situation in both her private and professional life. A homemaker, business woman and community leader, Ruby Lee will be remembered for her grace and dignity. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
