DORIS LAMBERT ROBINSON

Ruston, LA

Funeral services for Doris Lambert Robinson, age 96, of Bernice, LA will be 
11:00 A.M. Monday, September 8, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Bernice, 
LA with Rev. David Weeks officiating, assisted by Rev. Kenneth Nutt. Interment 
will follow in the Spearsville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Spearsville, LA on May 9, 1912 and died September 5, 
2008 in Bernice, LA. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. 
Robinson was preceded in death by her husband George Jackson Robinson.

She is survived by her sister, Floe Martin and husband Hugh of Bernice, LA; 
step-son, Max Robinson and wife Shirley of Fresno, CA; nephew, Steve Martin 
and wife Phamie of Summerfield, LA; niece, Debbie Vlahakos and husband Vic of 
Houston, TX; three grandchildren; and six great grand children. Doris is also 
survived by her special friends Sarah Haynes, Betty Ober, Agnes Grafton, Ann 
Comfort, Aline Brown and Felipa Guzman.

The family wishes to especially thank Sarah Haynes for the compassionate care 
and friendship she showed Doris during the last several years of her life.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bernice, LA or Hebron 
Baptist Church near Summerfield, LA.

Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 2008 from 10:00 AM until service time 
at First Baptist Church in Bernice, LA.
